Built specifically for dance studios.
The short version
Floorwork is a booking platform for dance studios bundled with a bespoke website, designed and built for your studio. It exists because every dance studio site we looked at was running Mindbody (or a Mindbody equivalent), and every Mindbody-powered booking flow looks the same: a modal widget that doesn't match the studio's brand, a sign-in URL that bounces to a vendor domain, a footer that says © Mindbody Inc.
Why “Floorwork”
Floorwork is what dancers do on the ground. Foundational, often unglamorous, the part of class that builds everything else. Same here: nothing flashy, just the foundational tooling a dance studio actually needs.
Who's behind it
Floorwork is built and run by Jordan Lister. The product comes from real time spent inside dance studios: watching front-desk staff fight booking software during a packed Saturday, watching parents try to pay for a class pack on a phone, watching instructors chase down attendance for payroll. Every decision in Floorwork is shaped by how dance studios actually operate, from recurring tuition and class packs to door check-in and instructor payout splits.
That focus is deliberate. Floorwork is not a generic booking tool with a dance skin on top. It models the things dance studios live and die by, and it leaves out the things they never use. Jordan handles the build, the studio onboarding, and the support directly, so feedback from a studio goes straight to the person who can act on it.
Floorwork launched in 2026 with 10 pilot dance studios, each on its own bespoke website and its own domain, taking real bookings and real payments. Those studios shape the roadmap, and the lessons from their day-to-day run the product.
